How to save while book shopping!!
1) Barnes & Noble
B&N
has its membership program for $25 but it's totally worth it! They send
constant emails with coupons and offers and based on my experience, I've noticed
that it is a lot easier to order through their online store because as a
member, you receive a benefit of actually receiving free shipping and the
items are usually delivered pretty quickly.
2) Books A Million - BAM!
I
had always been told my an old coworker about BAM but I never visited a
location until recently. I found a bargain section that included recent
book releases and they also have promotions that include a buy 2, get
the 3rd book free which had a nice selection. As I chatted with an employee,
she mentioned their membership program that is similar to the one at
B&N, however, she mentioned that they do price matching with Amazon
which already convinced of becoming a member.
3) Target
Target
also has a nice selection of books, I asked an employee and they price
match with Amazon and it is a good way to save money on these books, however, they have to be the ones that are delivered by Amazon and not any third party sellers.
4) Amazon
As
a student, I was able to get Amazon Prime for half the price and it is
worth it when it comes to making orders. When ordering a book, I get it
with their quick shipping system and I also have free shipping too which
helps me get these books at very affordable prices.
5) Goodwill
Even
though their book section isn't particularly organized, looking through
their items, you can find a few books in good condition and at an
affordable price.
